Job Responsibilities:-
The SDET will serve as both a catalyst and a facilitator for the development team. The Data Empowerment (DE) team will be responsible for this post. Principal Responsibilities: Create, construct, and install a system that includes human and automated testing frameworks for complicated situations. In partnership with developers, maintain and improve test frameworks and automation scripts. Assist the development team with software testing strategy and best practises (coverage, automation, integration, security, and so on). Ensure that the solution's test process is working properly and that any issues are resolved. Assist the development team in investigating automated test failures in accordance with SOC2 policies. Identifies and optimises performance opportunities and stability issues (monitoring, maintenance, reporting, etc.)
Propose new tools and techniques of operation in order to continuously improve. Requirements A university degree or comparable studies, as well as extensive expertise in manual and automated testing, are required. Ability to choose the finest tools and libraries based on use cases, such as Selenium, Protractor, NUnit, Nightwatch, WireMock, React Testing Library, and Mountebank.
Required Skillsets:-
Knowledge of common programming languages, specifically Javascript, C#, and Python; Contract testing experience between microservices (for example, Pact.io) Experience implementing test automation into a CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab is a plus); Product team experience detecting and troubleshooting issues and defects Current with emerging technology and eager to learn.
It's nice to have: Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Analytics, and ETL would be advantageous. Knowledge of cloud application hosting and deployment (Azure, GCP, or AWS);
PostgreSQL or another relational database, as well as SQL; Experienced with technologies such as TerraForm, Gitlab, Pulumi, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes;
Typescript and React knowledge.
