Job Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with others as part of a delivery team to understand requirements, analyse and revise stories, design solutions, implement/test them, and support them in production.
Drive and assist in the prioritising of User Stories and Backlog definition in order to streamline programme execution while aligning the product with the underlying architecture.
Write code that is well-written. You should be proud to call yourself a coder. You work closely with users, analysts, developers, and testers. Use test-driven development, write clean code, and refactor on a regular basis.
Define and evolve the architecture of the components under development. Contribute to departmental and bank-wide architectural decisions.
Make certain that the software you develop is dependable and simple to support in production. Be prepared to take risks.
Required Skillsets:-
Experience programming in Java with an emphasis on behaviour driven development (BDD), test driven development (TDD), and design patterns, ideally within a continuous integration (CDCI) environment.
Knowledge of JAVA (micro) services and REST APIs, as well as angular front ends.
Development of testing frameworks.
Agile development methodology.
Technologies:
Testing tools include Junit, Mockito, Protractor, Selenium, Cucumber, and others.
TDD / BDD testing linked to Java / Python development.
RDBMS/SQL other than Oracle
Hadoop, BigData, and Spark
Exposure to the following is advantageous:
IntelliJ/Eclipse; Spring, Springboot, Bootstrap, and Angular JS frameworks; IntelliJ/Eclipse; Build/CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git/stash, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker.
Cloud computing technologies
Banking and finance are aware of how preferable
Experience with BPMN technologies such as JBPM, Activitii, or similar is preferred.
