Job Responsibilities:-
Modifying device drivers for each operating system (Linux/RHEL, VMWare, Windows) to handle unexpected removal of adapters (Storage, networking, etc.)
• Working on device drivers for Stratus embedded FT hardware;
• Porting new releases of RHEL/VMWare VSphere/Windows operating systems to run on the latest Stratus hardware;
• Developing features and management solutions for existing and upcoming products;
• Investigating QA and Field report bugs and developing fixes; and
• Learning new skills to help the team successfully deliver value to our customers.
Required Skillsets:-
A bachelor's, master's, or engineering degree in computer science, or an equivalent, is required.
• Experience/Knowledge of OS internals such as ESX, Linux, or other Unix operating systems
•Experience in OS debugging, analysing system crashes
• Experience with source control and bug tracking tools such as git and Jira
• Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities. Ability to operate cooperatively in a local team as well as with the team in the United States.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills, ability to operate in a team environment
