Job Description:-
LogiNext is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Software Engineer - Analytics to create data products that extract valuable business insights for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This position will necessitate managing, processing, and analysing large amounts of raw data in scalable databases. This will also entail creating new data structures and writing algorithms for a completely new set of products.
Job Responsibilities:-
Software development that incorporates data-driven intelligence into products that use Big Data backends.
Exploratory data analysis to develop efficient data structures and algorithms for given requirements
The system may or may not include machine learning models and pipelines, but advanced algorithm development will be required.
Data management in large-scale data stores (such as NoSQL DBs, time series DBs, Geospatial DBs etc.)
Developing metrics and evaluating algorithms to improve accuracy and recall
Ensures efficient data access and utilisation through indexing, clustering, and other means.
Work with the engineering and product development teams.
Required Skillsets:-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering from a top-tier school in one of the following domains: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field; or bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, with hands-on experience in software development.
0 to 1 year of product development experience, including algorithmic work
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Capable of working independently and setting goals while keeping business objectives in mind.
Understanding of the JAVA or Python programming languages
Python experience with data processing analytics and visualisation tools (such as pandas, matplotlib, Scipy, etc.) OR, JAVA (RapidMiner, JavaML, JSAT etc.)
Database Understanding Using SQL
Understanding of NoSQL database querying (eg. Mongo, Casandra, Redis)
Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Yarn, Redshift, Spark, Kafka, and others will be beneficial.
