Job Description:-
The senior quality assurance engineer collaborates with product development and product management to review requirements and system documentation in order to design effective and cohesive test plans and test cases. The senior quality assurance engineer also oversees peer reviews of test plans and test cases, independently chooses and designs testing approaches that support thorough testing of challenging solutions, mentors and cross-trains others on testing approaches, executes test cases, analyses testing results, and identifies and reports root causes.
Job Responsibilities:-
Create, disseminate, carry out, and manage test plans
Create, carry out, and record test cases for new product releases.
Make sure that requirements are properly transformed into useful test cases by working with developers and product managers.
Determine manual test cases, carry them out, and evaluate test outcomes.
Identify and report the primary reasons of test failures by working with developers and product managers.
Make suggestions to enhance product performance, reliability, and quality assurance best practises and procedures.
Develop testing strategies on your own that facilitate thorough testing of challenging solutions; guide and instruct others in testing strategies.
Required Skillsets:-
1+ years of software quality assurance expertise
experience with selenium for at least a year
having knowledge of manual testing procedures, black box, white box, and grey box testing, as well as test case design, scripting, and execution, and automated test tools.
experience dealing with issue tracking systems, test case design, and execution experience with functional testing of multi-tier Web applications
excellent communicator and planner
thorough knowledge of large-scale systems testing
SQL, JSON, XML, and API testing expertise
knowledge of or exposure to Jira
a passion for software testing and finding simple answers to complex challenges
