Job Description:-
Our Platform Data System Quality Assurance team is in charge of thorough testing across a wide range of cutting-edge technologies and systems developed by Akamai. Our first aim is to integrate these technologies while focusing on real-world, end-to-end testing to verify that all of our systems work with and deploy to Akamai's Platform.
Job Responsibilities:-
You will be a member of a scrum team as an SDET. Working to promote good quality practises and to develop manual and automated integration and system tests. You'll be an important member of the team in charge of testing Akamai Data Warehouse.
Performing the entire QA cycle for software releases, including gathering specifications, building test plans, automating, and performing automated and manual tests.
Developing and implementing novel approaches and concepts. to boost testing practises' productivity and efficiency
Verification includes requirements gathering, feature and functional testing, regression, load, and performance testing.
Creating testing tools, including scripts to improve regression testing.
Required Skillsets:-
Have extensive QA testing experience
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting, and SQL skills.
Understand networking protocols and technologies (particularly HTTP, HTTPS, and DNS).
Have some experience with Kubernetes.
Demonstrate knowledge of testing backend distributed systems.
