Job Description:-
What does it mean to be good? A major anchor for Quality on the delivery team, bringing testing leadership to equip the team to follow the correct set of testing practises, tools, KPIs, and so on, while being very hands-on in all types of testing operations. A broad understanding of business, development, infrastructure, domain, and so on, as well as an understanding that "quality" presents itself in all of these areas. Always has a half-thought for the service-consumer and advocates for them in all negotiations. Mentors and develops new QAs on the team, and serves as a primary point of contact for all quality-related discussions with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:-
Examine requirements, specifications, and technical design papers in order to provide timely and relevant comments.
Create test plans and test cases that are detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured.
Test operations should be estimated, prioritised, planned, and coordinated.
Using open source tools, create, develop, and execute automation scripts.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
When bugs are fixed, perform extensive regression testing.
Create and implement testing procedures for new and existing products in order to meet the expectations of customers.
Collaborate with internal teams (such as developers and product managers) to determine system needs.
Keep track of the results of the debugging procedure.
Investigate the reasons of non-conforming software and instruct users on how to apply fixes.
Maintain an eye on quality assurance measures such as defect density and open defect counts.
Keep up to date on new testing tools and methodologies.
Required Skillsets:-
Proven software development work experience
Work experience in software quality assurance is required.
Strong understanding of software quality assurance approaches, tools, and processes
Experience writing test plans and test cases that are clear, simple, and comprehensive
Hands-on expertise with both white box and black box testing, as well as automated testing tools
Solid SQL and scripting expertise Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology
Experience with performance and/or security testing would be advantageous.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field
