Job Description:-
We are searching for a JAVA 8/11 developer to help us with the development and upkeep of SW360, an eclipse foundation tool.
Eclipse SW360 is a software catalogue system that helps organisations manage software components and licence information.
SW360 is a Siemens endeavour in the OSS area, and we are all working collaboratively as a vibrant and growing community under the eclipse foundation to create the tool that works for all.
Job Responsibilities:-
Feature development: add new functionality to the tool, such as cloud compatibility.
Bug fixing: assistance in resolving bugs reported by the external community and internal Siemens users.
Create more REST-API end points for smooth integration through automation.
Testing: Increase test coverage by adding more test cases.
Required Skillsets:-
Java 8 or 11 - Core / Advanced Java, jQuery, REST WebServices, Maven or Gradle, Servlets and JSP, Spring / Spring Boot Javscript, Github or Gitlab, Ajax, SQL and / or NoSQL databases,
Excellent to have:
Using Linux commands, access MongoDB or Docker,CouchDB, PostgreSQL, and CI / C.
