Job Responsibilities:-
Use the team's test methodology, methods, procedures, standards, and tools.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of best practises in software development and quality assurance.
Coordination of cross-team testing activities
Manual functional and regression testing should be carried out.
Carry out volume, performance, and reliability testing.
Ensure high-quality software that meets requirements by ensuring that each feature has clearly defined acceptance criteria and has been thoroughly tested using documented test scripts. Full test coverage against the criteria is anticipated.
Test results should be recorded, maintained, and archived.
Perform tests ranging from the hardware component level to the entire solution.
Install and configure the testing environment's hardware and software components.
Create test scripts that allow for the reuse of test scripts and components.
Using a test automation framework, create automation test scripts.
Execute and analyse the results of the automation tests.
Maintain and improve the framework for test automation.
All issues discovered during requirements review or testing should be documented and tracked until they are resolved. For test cases and problems, use software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
Create accurate work effort estimates and meet project deadlines
Assist others in predicting work effort and dependencies; accountable for Sprint team commitments.
Monitor the status of test execution and provide metrics and reports to management.
Control both real and virtual lab environments.
Debugging and troubleshooting procedures are used to assist developers in isolating the problem and establishing the solution.
Review and offer feedback on technical documentation, user assistance materials, and customer training.
Maintains current knowledge of technology and/or testing practises and disseminates it to team members; develops best practises.
Required Skillsets:-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or a related subject
0-3 years of software testing experience
Understands software testing concepts and methods. Experience in software or firmware testing that is relevant or related
Experience evaluating software or firmware that is relevant or connected. Knowledge about the desired technology.
Capability to discover, debug, and articulate software flaws
Experience in GUI testing, backend testing, and database testing is required.
Experience with enterprise software testing Experience with test automation using the Robo framework Experience building functional, integration, and end-of-life scenario test cases to validate business, system, and operational requirements
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are required.
Capable of voicing constructive comments, adapting to changing requirements, and providing frequent status updates.
Knowledge of tools like as QC, QTP, and JIRA.
Have a strong drive for quality and an eye for detail; be able to work well in a team environment comprised of peers and cross-functional employees from around the world
Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical coworkers Ability to take initiative and work independently
To determine high-risk regions of an application on which to focus testing efforts, judgement skills are required. Ability to comprehend customer needs or expectations; business requirements and technological requirements
