Job Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and application developers as part of a dynamic team of quality assurance engineers.
Under little supervision, maintain the quality and stability of Adenza software solutions by understanding business and functional requirements and building test cases to assure the correctness of implementation and the capture of defects inside the solution.
Tasks of moderate complexity based on regulatory, design, and testing criteria in which you are required to use your judgement in deciding acceptable actions with little supervision.
Execution of functional and regression test cases, as well as testing corrections of regulatory changes, errors, and additions as part of regular releases and client hotfixes
After the initial tests are completed, test functionality and performance on various platforms (Sybase, MSSQL, and so on) based on the project demands.
Document test strategies, plans, and scenarios, and maintain the test management system with little oversight from the lead.
Create, upgrade, and maintain test environments and data.
Required Skillsets:-
+1 years of QA experience (ideally in the field of fintech)
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills (intermediate+)
Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
Jira, Zephyr, and Xray knowledge
SQL querying expertise
A thorough understanding of the SDLC phases
Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development approaches
Experience with various aspects of the test lifecycle (creation of test cases/checklists, test execution, defect tracking)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail
A background in financial services, accounting, capital markets, or fintech is preferred.
