Job Responsibilities:-

Machine learning software engineering. Converting data scientist-provided machine learning models into production while taking scalability, performance, integration into the application, and other factors into account.
Working on large/complex projects that demand you to link business needs and subject understanding with technological skills.
Collaborating and working with cross-functional teams including devops, quality engineers, product managers, architects, data engineers, data scientists, SMEs, and others to implement effective solutions.
Technical coaching for team members, code reviews
Leading and consulting on application design, as well as team implementation.
Contributing to the design of interfaces and information flow between components. Major module subject matter expert (SME).

Required Skillsets:-

Total experience ranging from 0 to 3 years in software development and machine learning. At least 0+ years of experience in Python backend programming, as well as recognised leadership credentials.
Experience with numpy, pandas, Scikit, TensorFlow, transforming ML/DL/AI models to production ready, data processing and validation is preferred.
Prior experience as a software developer on Analytics/Data Science projects (applications that manage and deploy ML/DL/statistical models to predict/prescribe) will be advantageous.
Experience in Team Management/People Management is required.
Best practises in architecture, design, and software development.
Willingness to specialise in Machine Learning Engineering rather than general roles such as Data Scientist or backend developer. Motivated by the desire to scale POC ML models to the production level rather than limiting myself to research-driven ML POCs.
Prior experience creating an application on Azure/AWS utilising microservices architecture; docker/containerization is required.
Database knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is required. Knowledge of managed services such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
Understand application and infrastructure design as well as non-functional factors such as performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
Have strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, influence, and articulation skills.
Have a degree in computer science or a STEM major (science, technology, engineering, statistics, or mathematics).
